About Me

I have always had a love for photography. It was always just a hobby and I left the professional part of it up to others. It wasn't until I had my first child that I really found myself wanting to help people preserve such emotional and intimate moments in their own lives through photography. I immersed myself in photography and taught myself the basics before taking formal courses in film and digital photography.  My style is unique and I feel everyone is different therefore one great photo may not be so great to another.

 

   When capturing great images I use a fun, relaxed, and in the moment approach to photography. Photos capture more then just an image but a feeling and a frozen look back into time. I believe that when you are most comfortable you take the best photos. Therefore, a local park or neighborhood landmark or even your home can give us those great shots! I prefer to use natural light and find creative outdoor spots for photos, although I do studio photography as well. I have an in home studio in Monticello, MN. I am very flexible and want to capture these priceless moments just for you. Weddings are my favorite to photograph and capture the excitement and happiness of the day for a lifetime to come! I work out of my home where I live with my husband, 2 kids, and our 4 dogs.   ​​​
